Even Bach Would be Happy

We had such a good time I think even Bach would be happy. Fridays during school time, the Lafayette Natural History Museum & Planetarium, puts on what's called Bach Lunch. It's free and seriously fun. Several local musicians come and play music. Lunch is offered for a discounted price, or you can bring your own. It is done in Parc Sans Souci,(if that rings a bell it's because our famous water fountain is located there.)

This week L'Angelus was the band that played, (made up of five members of the Rees family, they combine traditional Cajun music with classic rock, bluegrass and Texas swing.) They are always so nice to hear, and are very down to earth. Cindy & the kids, Didi, and the girls and I were all able to be together. We all had a wonderful time talking, playing in the water fountain, snacking on cookies and Goldfish, and most of all dancing the day away.

The girls had so much fun...Emma was even asking for Didi, Aunt Cindy, and her cousins later that night. Mommy also got a chance to catch up with friends I went to school with that I had not seen for some time. I hope we will be able to do it again soon!
