Every October, the Zoo of Acadiana puts on what's called Boo at the Zoo. Kids come dressed in their costumes, and it's pretty much trick-or-treating, but so much more fun. I really didn't think our little monkeys needed to dress-up because they already fit in well with the other animals:) I really am joking our girls are just fun.
Before we even reached the first animals, the costumes came off! Woohoo! The girls really had a good time, and the petting zoo was a BIG hit. Sorry we did not have pictures of all the festivities. We had several periods of fussiness & bouts of independence, so taking care of our little monkeys took precedence. In the spirit of LSU and Mike the Tiger, I had to post this picture......
After a late lunch, we headed home for much needed naps. On the way home we had decided to go to 5:30 p.m. mass. Well the naps were not so successful. With a crazy day, and no naps, as insane as it sounds, we were still going to an evening mass. I cannot tell you how wonderful the girls were. Yes, we were still in the cry room, but there was no fussing, kicking, or screaming. YEEEEHHHAAAAA! Dad and I were so proud of you girls!
