At the Cottage

The girls and I met Didi and Nanny Wanda at the Cottage Shoppe of Acadiana for a craft day. This is a beautiful little cottage that sells unique gifts as well as a nursery next door called The Blue Daisy. During October they host a sort of outdoor craft show. Local merchants creatively display some unique crafts they make. Nanny Wanda found a beautiful bench to put in her backyard...here is a picture of her with the man who made it. Meanwhile, we had a wonderful surprise...Pahpan, Nanny Cindy, and the kids came too. We were there all together. Nanny was so glad to spend time with you Gracie. Caleb, khaki is so proud of your thoughtfulness when willing to share your treasure with Emma. Ben and Elijah, Khaki enjoyed seeing you too. Thank you Didi and Nanny Wanda for watching the girls so I could look as well.

After the Cottage we went and had lunch at Didi's. We had leftovers of one of my favorites....Honey Baked Ham....ummm ummm! The girls played, and Emma even had a piece of lemon "party take."

When we got home Maw Maw and Nanny Chelle invited us for supper, and we then went to watch a movie at Nanny Chelle's house. We really had a very enjoyable time. Thank you Lord for providing us with wonderful family-time. Today was a beautiful day, and we were able to enjoy it with those we love.
