Today, is Poppie's Heavenly Birthday. Boy, does time fly by. The Chopuycorm family:) spent time remembering how Poppie has touched our lives. Even though some of our family has not "met" Poppie, I feel we have all been touched by his life. We had a great time as a family, laughing, tearing, and playing at his grave. I'm sure he is looking on us from Heaven laughing and smiling at his little ones. On the way back to our cars, Didi played a game of Grandmother May I, a spin-off of a game we so treasured to play with Dad as kids. So Poppie, does that make you 9 in Heaven years? You are missed and loved daily!

*Flowers for Poppie*
Today was yet another adventure. We had a late start, but it didn't slow down our day. Maw-Maw stopped by, and dropped off our lunches we bought to help support our nephew Hunter's allstar baseball team. Hunter is a player on the Abbeville 8's Allstar team, along with Shannon, our brother-in-law, who is one of the coaches. They have just won State, and are trying to raise money to go to Regionals in Little Rock, Arkansas. Needless to say, the sausage poboys were great, and we decided to bring one to Didi too.
We had a wonderful visit with Didi, but didn't want to stay too long so she get some rest. After leaving Didi's we decided to go to the University Art Museum, and had a fun time. Next on our list were refreshments. With this summer weather nothing quenches my thirst better than a Rt 44 apple juice slush from Sonic. Once quenched, we decided to go visit Poppie's grave. Eric thought it would be nice to find some plants and plant them for Poppie. We found two beautiful Hibiscuses for our two beautiful girls. Emma had a lot of fun helping mom and dad get the plants ready for Poppie. Madeline, on the other hand, decided she had already had a busy day and chose to have a siesta instead. We miss you Dad.
