New Library

Today they opened the new Southside Library!  We had to try it out!  Daddy had already had a              sneak peak because he and Parrain Scott helped to build it!  The girls found their unique spots (ie the reading tent, the cutout wheel in the wall, and the tree walkway.  The library is so unique and well thought of!  You girls had a                                                                      really fun time!

These were the books and cd you guys chose:

Whose Garden is It? (Hoberman)
Playground Day! (Merz)
Meltdown!(cd by Justin Roberts)

A Zoorific Time!

Today we had such a great time at the zoo!  Mom is slowly learning to let go.  Usually we try to keep the kids in the wagon, but how much fun is that??  This time we let them go where they wanted(within reason), and just let them be kids.  Why we didn't think of this earlier I'll never know ;)!  How can you explore if you can't get down in the thick of it?  They had so much fun and there was less resistance from both sides.  We are learning, and letting go!

Who Knew?

Emma's a polar bear....This morning Emma told me she was a polar bear. I asked her when she became a polar bear and she said outside.

Water Fun

Being we have two little waterbugs, we thought it would be fun to use their baby tub as a little basin.  Before we even got started we had some guests pass by and offered us to play with them in the park.  We had such a fun time.  Once back home we were drawn to the water!

They just couldn't resist!

We have been wanting to plant a small garden of herbs and vegetables. With a little extra time on our hands we decided to start small and plant tomatoes and bell peppers.  The girls had a lot of fun too!

front yard silliness

My little ladies, today we had so much fun playing in the yard.  Daddy bbq'd  burgers for us that were so yummy.  I think we took just about every outdoor toy there was out to play.  Watching you two is such a blast!  Thank you for making life so much fun!!  Daddy, thank you for always taking care of your girls!

First Family Night

Tonight was the family night back at Didi's house.  We really had a wonderful time!  Even though the scenery may have looked a little different, the joy of being there was definitely the same!  We even made sugar cookies for dessert, and all the kids made their own designs! ( Sorry, we didn't have any pictures of us all together).
