Emma's Gift

This week is Andre's birthday. Emma took it upon herself to make her own gift for Andre. The contents, I am quite positive Andre would not need or want. So why is this significant??? Some of these items were HER favorite things. I was SO amazed that our precious sweetheart was willing to part with the things she loved most to share with someone she loved. She truly was a witness to me.

Contents: roll of bubble wrap, pink princess shoe, John Deere toy tractor with no wheels, spoon, insert for sippi cup, pink brush, and orange crayon.

Thanksgiving in Toledo Bend

We had such a great time spending Thanksgiving in Toledo Bend. It is always a time to relax, and be thankful for all the many things the Lord has given to us. We really also enjoyed being with our family and getting to go fishing. We even got to spend time with Aunt "Caffey" and Rye Rye on Sunday.

God Bless America!

Moments like today make us sad, but very Proud to be an American! Today we buried one of our local soldiers, Sgt Patrick Williamson(Army, 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.).

Many people lined the streets, paying their respect to Sgt. Williamson and his family. We were blessed to be a part of such a solemn, but beautiful witness of sacrifice and bravery.

May Our Sweet Lord hold this family in His Beautiful Arms!

We are so appreciative of all those who have, are, and will fight for this great Nation!

St. Mary Magdalene Relics

We were so blessed to be able to venerate the relics of St Mary Magdalene. First, and foremost she knelt before our crucified Lord, but she is also the saint for which our church is named. It was a very peaceful experience!

# 3 is On the Way!

As many of you guys know #3 is on the way. We are VERY excited the Lord has blessed us with another beautiful life to celebrate. We went to our first doctor's visit on the 2nd. Sorry the picture is not very clear, but nonetheless this is our Lovebug's/Trifecta(still working on the nickname) first and surely not last photo! For all who just see a bunch of snow like on T.V., if you notice the words halfway on the right side of the photo, the baby is slightly to the left. If your eyes are superduper you will see the pointer that measures the length of the baby. I actually think that the sac looks like a dinosaur, hence the picture of the dinosaur. The most important thing is that our baby's heartbeat was very strong! I am 9 weeks pregnant with a due date of June 7th!

St Therese, please continue to intercede for us!

The Little Way

Today we celebrate the feast day of St Therese of Lisieux. She is very special to our family because she is Madeline's patron saint. Today started off very frustrating. I had tried to plan special activities, but found our car had been broken into that morning. It was very discouraging, but it also gave us an opportunity to "be little", and trust in our Lord. Though the day had not started the way we had planned, we still celebrated. We colored St. Therese coloring pages and even had pain perdu (French toast) for supper.

You can check out an older post for a little background:

Happy Anniversary!

It's hard to believe 4 years has already passed! Not to mention our family has doubled :)! Our two little princesses brighten our life! These four years have provided joy, love, happiness, and faith-building moments. We are so blessed that no matter what life may bring we are able to go through it together with God! We are also so blessed to have such a wonderful family. You each have rejoiced with us during the joyful moments and supportive of us during the faith-building moments.

This has been a quite ironic year. Our beautiful Church has been under much interior renovation. We too, have had a renovating year. There is so much beautiful change occurring within each of us. I am so looking forward to seeing the beauty that the Lord is creating. The most amazing thing is that the Lord has let me share this wonderful life with my best friend.

I Love You Honey!!

Oh, I mustn't forget.....Happy Anniversary to our Texas Family too!!!!!

A Great Day!

We had such a day today. The girls and I got a chance to go to Mass. It is amazing how much it can uplift your day! The day was also so beautiful in itself....the sun was shining and the roses are blooming :)! It was such a pretty day we even decided to tag-team, and mow the yard. The Lord even provided us with laughter, as the handle broke on the toilet. I guess with two Potty-training princess who love to flush the toilet these things are bound to happen.
